Andrew Freeman

Portland Employment Law Attorney

Andrew Freeman is an employment attorney and partner at Unlawful Termination Lawyers, LLC.  He represents employees in employment-related matters including whistleblowing, sexual harassment, race and sex discrimination, family and medical leave interference, disability and injured worker discrimination, and wrongful termination.  Andrew is admitted to practice law in Oregon state and federal courts.  He is a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA).

Andrew discovered his passion for employment law during college when he worked full-time at a busy law firm that represented people who experienced discrimination and retaliation in the workplace. He learned first-hand the level of skill, hard work, and perseverance necessary to achieve justice for employees who have been wronged, and it inspired him to attend law school to become an advocate for employees’ rights.

Andrew has represented hundreds of employees in harassment and discrimination cases, including high-profile matters involving large, nationwide employers. Andrew brings a compassionate and supportive approach to his advocacy on behalf of each client. He recognizes that deciding to seek justice regarding situations as sensitive as sexual harassment and discrimination can feel overwhelming and works carefully to ensure that clients understand and can have their voices heard during the legal process.

Andrew graduated with honors from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon and received numerous academic awards. He also served as Article Editor for the Lewis & Clark Law Review and was a member of the Employment Law Society. His article analyzing the implications of a recent decision by the United States Supreme Court in an employment discrimination case was published in the Lewis & Clark Law Review. Andrew received his undergraduate degree with top honors from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing soccer and other sports, hiking, cooking, and traveling to new places.
