ERIC WILSON
Eric Wilson is an employment attorney with the employment law firm of Mitra Law Group.
Eric received his law degree in 2004 from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he graduate with top honors and earned membership for academic achievement in the Order of the Coif and was elected on the Managing Board of the Oregon Law Review. During law school, Eric was a dedicated volunteer for the Lane County Legal Aid services and clerked for the Special Litigation Unit of the Oregon Department of Justice. After graduation, Eric gained valuable experience and insight working as a Labor & Employment defense lawyer until 2008. Realizing his true passion was in defending the helpless employees and not empowering the wrongful conduct of rich corporations; Eric left the dark side and proudly joined the plaintiff's bar, exclusively representing employees in employment related matters.
Eric is originally from upstate New York where he graduated with Honors from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. After college and before attending law school, Eric spent five years in Washington, D.C., working for environmental, campaign-finance and animal-rights non-profit advocacy organizations.
Eric is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in Oregon and has successfully briefed and argued several cases before the federal and state court of appeals. Eric is also an active member of the Oregon State Bar, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the Multnomah County Bar Association.
