Daniel Le Roux
Daniel Le Roux is an employment attorney with the employment law firm of Mitra Law Group. Daniel is a law graduate of Northwestern School of Law, Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. He is a member of the Oregon and California Bars and is licensed to practice law in all Oregon and California state and federal courts. Daniel is a two time recipient of Pro Bono Honors for 2003-2004 and 2004-2005. In 2006, he also received the Academic Excellence Award from California Western School of Law. Daniel is an active volunteer cooperating counsel and a proud member of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Sierra Club.
Daniel began his legal career in San Diego at the boutique law firm of Shoecraft-Burton. In January of 2008, Daniel moved back to Oregon and has since been handling employment cases, exclusively representing employees in all employment related matters.
Daniel’s special expertise is in the area of legal research, drafting pleadings, opposing motions and trial preparation. Daniel has an extraordinary high success rate in defeating and opposing dispositive motions in employment related matters, both in Federal and State courts. His creative and uncanny ability to comprehend and address tough legal issues in the employment law area has been noted by some of the best known legal practitioners in the employment law field. Daniel is also an up and coming appellate lawyer who enjoys the challenges associated with making good laws or reversing bad laws. Daniel had an important role in preparing and assisting the trial of Traxler v. Mutlnomah County which resulted in a 1.8 million dollar verdict for the plaintiff in March of 2008, the largest employment verdict in Oregon history at the time.
Daniel is a published and brilliant writer who actually enjoys reading law and political theories in his spare time. His other hobbies are traveling and running marathons.
